Protagonist: Kai is a 17 year old boy, born in Livingston to a Scottish mother and Cuban father. Due to his blindness in his left eye and quiet nature growing up, it was difficult to make friends. This, along with an abusive household, would cause angry outbursts at those around him. He claims once he is able to move out, he has plans to take his little sister (Dea Alvarez) ¨out of this rat infested prison for good¨. 

Relationship to victim:. When Aaron moved to Scotland, he saw Kai playing the viola in an empty classroom. He listened in and at some point Kai began to play for him, despite being skeptical and slightly scared of Aaron. Over time as their relationship developed, Aaron became popular, making Kai popular. He was at his happiest until Aaron moved to London and Kai started getting bullied again. His love and care for Aaron is so strong that if you told him to choose between Aaron or Dea, he wouldn't be able to.

Oct 25 1982 

Quote: "Y'know, I'm always starting with the man in the mirror first, you feel me?" 

Martin, (known as M.J. by Aaron), is an 18 year old aspiring cellist from Maryland raised by 2 well-known retired Haitian wrestlers (Bruno Jackson & Lovely Jackson) and older brother (Samuel Jackson). He's open-minded, extroverted, and loves messing with people around him. He loves running track despite his missing right leg. He lost his leg due to his family history of diabetes, though he doesn't let it bother him. Despite his musical abilities, he wants to also pursue a career in comedy due to his love for making people laugh.

Relationship to victim:. M.J. and A.T. had been best friends since they were infants due to their parents being close friends. They spent 13 years of their lives in Maryland at the same schools, in the same neighborhoods, they seemed inseperable. They loved to clown on bullies at their school, which gave them the nickname "Bully bullies" by their classmates and teachers. When Aaron left to go to Scotland, M.J. was upset for a bit, though realizing they'd keep contact would help him get over it...kinda.

May 24 1982 

Quote: "So anyways, there's this jerk I met with the body of a Member's Mark Pretzel Box trying to tell me blah blah blah..."

Victim: Aaron (known as A.T. by Martin) was raised by a Vietnamese mother and German-American father. With his father being in the military, they'd travel around a lot, which would cause Aaron, because of his big personality, to make a bunch of friends on the way. Aaron always loved people and being there for others when necessary.  He wanted to be a professional pianist or oil painter when he grew up...but that never happened. On his 18th birthday, May 24th 2000, he was murdered by someone on the cruise ship he had his party on.

Fun Fact: He had a pet lizard from when he was 5 all the way up to his death. He also has 3 middle names (Emmett, Minh and Khoa)

August 6 1983

Born in London, raised in Birkenhead, 17 year old future business man Carson Wilson has always had a passion for leadership and music. Growing up he always wanted a sibling, but when the topic was brought up by his parents, the subject was always dismissed. His father always told him that he would be the head of the family business, TWills.inc (Theodore Wilson Incorporation).

Relationship to Victim: During his time in Birkenhead, Aaron went to a private school, where he met Carson. Carson would mainly assist Aaron with his academics and was like the brother that Carson never had. Carson loved having someone to teach and spend time with, despite his parents not approving of Aaron at first.

August 6 1983

Quote: "I'm sorry, i thought a roach said something."

Born and raised in London, 17 year old Kara was raised by her uncle and his wife ever since she left the hospital as a baby. Growing up she always felt lonely and due to her experiences with her dunken uncle and other men in her life, she began to have a biased disliking of men. She was never introduced to the family business until she finally met her twin brother on the cruise ship. It interested her, but she did not want to get involved.

Relationship to Victim: During his time in London, Aaron went to another private school where he met Kara. Though she was skeptical of Aaron at first, she would later find herself being vulnerable with him and sharing her experiences in the past and with her uncle. Her interactions with Aaron would make her question her mindset and realize that her uncle is not the representation of every man ever. This would end in her seeing Aaron as the brother and friend she always wanted.

April 9 1982

Quote: "I'm sorry, I just wanna make sure yer okay."

Marian (Known as Ann by Kai) is an 18 year old bassist born and raised in Livingston. She loves to help others and tries her best to make everyone around her comfortable. Due to her kindness, she is easily lead on and gullible at times, making herself believe that everything is her fault, even if it is not.

Relationship to Victim: During his time in Scotland, Aaron befriended Ann and Kai. Though the two had known each other previously, Aaron had really brought them together as a trio. Ann had struggled with her looks and reaching out to people, but Aaron really jump-started her confidence and helped her and Kai become "popular". Though when Aaron left...Ann was the only one to continue to benifit from popularity.

August 25 1981

Quote: "You don't understand what you've gotten yourself into."

Born in Korea and moved to Montreal  at 6, Leo was an average student who tried his best when it came to academics. He grew up very insecure with how he looked due to his environment and the people around him. Despite not having many to turn to, he does at least try to communicate with others when he feels it necessary. His life really took a turn when his best friend Lucas passed away when he was 16 on a cruise ship...the very same one as Aaron. He was 19 the day Aaron died, and every year he'd come to the ship in the same room every time, except this time Kai had the room...which is a problem.

September 22 1981 

Quote: "Hey, Half Pint! Must be scary, y'know, seeing a dead guy."

Born and raised in Montreal Canada, Lucas never knew when to shut his mouth. His determination to lend a hand and trust in others would eventually lead him to his demise. At age 16, on a cruise ship, he was murdered, devastating those who knew him. Now, he haunts the room that he took his last breaths in, on the ship.
